Indian Ridge Scholarship Fund celebrates 10 years of giving back to employees
The Desert Sun - Published March 18, 2022

The Indian Ridge Scholarship Fund celebrated its 10th anniversary with a luncheon on March 13. Indian Ridge Country Club created the fund in 2012 to provide funding for college scholarships to club employees and their children.

Since its founding, the fund has awarded 154 grants. This season the fund is providing scholarships to 19 students. It was a great opportunity for the members — who are major donors to the fund — to meet with the students and hear how their contributions are changing lives. It was especially meaningful to be together this year, since COVID forced cancellation of fund events for the last two years.

They decided to hold a drive-through food drive in their community. It was especially meaningful to be together this year, since COVID forced cancellation of fund events for the last two years.
